the UMB
The Union Mondial de Billard is the world-body for all Carom/carambole billiard games. She was created in Madrid on June 1st, 1959 and is dedicated to promote the games of Carom billiard. The UMB monitors and controls all international Carom billiard competitions and tournaments.

One of the goals of the UMB is to favor the development of all the games in the sports of billiards at world level and to represent the interests of billiards in general.
The UMB guarantees a permanent and stable liaison with its affiliated and recognized associations and constitutes the highest power in world Carom billiards.
